Community Resource Development Plan Priorities FY 2018-2019

Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC) considers the following areas to be priorities when submitting proposals to the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for the development of resources under the newly developed Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP).   Information has been gathered through stakeholders, including but not limited to individuals receiving services in the community, family members, current service providers, development of Individual Program Plans (IPP’s), collaboration with local housing development agencies, and through discussions within the vendor advisory committee group meetings. Currently, the following priority areas have been identified but are not limited to the following:

  • Affordable Housing Opportunities
  • Downsizing of larger residential programs
  • Specialized day and vocational services for individuals with behavioral challenges
  • Residential services for children and adults with various levels of need
  • In home crisis services to support families

Any additional input from individuals/family members, service providers, or other interested persons within the community should be submitted directly to RCOC in order to be considered for development purposes.   Please submit suggestions or input to Jack Stanton at resources@nullrcocdd.com
