JOB TITLE: PARENT VENDOR COORDINATOR, Outcomes Work Group

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

DATE: April 10, 2008     

JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Responsible for the vendorization of parent vendored services. Assuring all applicable vendorization regulations and standards are met and maintained.
  • Receives and responds to agency staff requests for parent vendorization (day care, transportation, respite, and personal assistant) and provides subsequent support to the completion of Vendorization of parent vendors.
  • Responsive to vendor requests for information, renewals, changes and requests for modification of existing vendor status.
  • Coordinates correspondence between RCOC and other regional centers, state agencies and all other applicable agencies, in regards to a vendor’s status.
  • Responsible for the development of exception report for vendor services. Coordinates with operations and finance departments to ensure consistencies.
  • Provides training and presentations to parents and RCOC staff and other community organizations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:/font>

  1. Four years related experience and/or training; Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
  2. Minimum of three years procurement, contract negotiation, or total quality management experience in a social services, health care, professional services or related environment required
  3. Possession of a valid California Driver’s license, or other means of transportation that will permit incumbent to discharge job duties effectively and efficiently is required, and an insured vehicle.

LOCATION:              City of Santa Ana – Civic Center Drive West/Flower Street

HOURLY SALARY RANGE:    $15.48 - $20.25

JOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR Outcomes Work Group

FLSA Status: Exempt

DATE: April 10, 2008     

JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Conducts unannounced visits, annual and tri-annual reviews of vendored providers of services to children and adults. Coordinates and facilitates activities which result in the delivery of supports and services of the highest quality for people with developmental disabilities, their families, service providers and RCOC staff members by performing the listed duties personally and as a member of a team. Each Quality Assurance Coordinator will have the responsibilities of performing their duties in one of the four RCOC geographic service areas. In addition, each Quality Assurance Coordinator will have the responsibility to build a partnership with an assigned special interest group. The four program areas include CCF/ICF Providers, Adult Day Programs, SL/ILS Providers and Early Start Programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Four years related experience and/or training; Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
  2. Minimum of one year of experience as a Service Coordinator or in a quality management role in a social services, health care, professional services or related environment required
  3. Possession of a valid California Driver’s license, or other means of transportation that will permit incumbent to discharge job duties effectively and efficiently is required, and an insured vehicle.

MONTHLY SALARY RANGE:    $2,490 - $4,218

JOB TITLE: SERVICE COORDINATOR

DATE: February 27, 2007      

JOB FUNCTIONS: 

The Service Coordinator has direct responsibility for routine program coordination, which requires planning and implementation of consumer’s individual program plans.  Secures information contributing to the consumer’s situation.  Plans and implements interventions and identifies resources to meet the objectives of the consumer’s developmental program.  Counsels consumers and/or family members.  Interviews consumers with problems to determine the nature of the problem.  Monitors the identified resources to determine objectives are being met.  Identifies barriers to consumer’s developmental progress.  All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.    A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, education or a related field required.

2.    Possession of a valid California Driver’s license, or other means of transportation that will permit incumbent to discharge job duties effectively and efficiently is required, and an insured vehicle.

3.    Minimum of one year case management experience within a social services, health care/services or related environment required.

LOCATION:              City of Santa Ana, Civic Center Drive West and Flower

MONTHLY SALARY RANGE:    $2,921 – $4,018

JOB TITLE: Autism Clinical Specialist, Children and Family Resources Group           

DATE: February 29, 2008

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of therapists and specialists. Assists service coordinators with clinical referrals. Advises Intake unit on best practice guidelines for the screening, diagnosis, and assessment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Provides technical assistance to local clinicians and service providers specializing in ASD. Contributes expertise to statewide clinician trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.   Possess a doctorate degree in psychology from an accredited university, college, or professional school. Board Certification in Behavior Analysis or eligible for certification.

2.   Minimum of three to five years experience in human services or educational settings with an emphasis in autism

3.   Possession of a valid California Driver’s license, or other means of transportation that will permit incumbent to discharge job duties effectively and efficiently, is required, and an insured vehicle.

LOCATION: City of Santa Ana, Flower and Civic Center Drive West 

MONTHLY SALARY RANGE: $6,781 - $9,208
