Board of Directors

The Regional Center of Orange County Board of Directors provides policy leadership and oversight of RCOC on behalf of the community.

Services Content

Board members volunteer their time, serving on committees that make policy recommendations to the board as a whole, and leading initiatives in areas such as housing and legislation.

Board members do not represent themselves alone or any special interest group and use RCOC’s mission, vision, values, and guiding principles to help lead the organization.

Questions or comments for the Board of Directors can be submitted via email to boardofdirectors@rcocdd.com.  The Board does not get involved in individual cases as they rely on the Executive Director and his staff to handle individual cases.  The Board monitors operations and purchase of services.

If you feel that an increase in services is needed, please submit the request to a service coordinator.  We will work together to determine what is needed and this may involve a Planning Team Meeting to discuss further.  Ultimately if a determination agreement is not reached, RCOC will provide a Notice of Action and details regarding the right to appeal the decision.

If you have a concern or complaint regarding RCOC, you can contact our management team directly.  If you are not satisfied with the response of RCOC management, a formal complaint can be made directly with DDS.  For further information, please go to the complaint process section or directly to the DDS Right’s, Appeals, & Complaints webpage.

Or write to the board: c/o Regional Center, P.O. Box 22010, Santa Ana, CA 92702-2010
