Public Records
We believe in openness and in providing timely, accurate, and comprehensive information to the people we serve and their families, service providers, board members, staff, and our community.
Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC) supports the public’s right to access public records created and maintained by RCOC in the normal course of business. RCOC strives to provide service in a transparent manner, including timely access to requested records in accordance with the California Public Records Act (GC 7920-7931).
If you are a person served by RCOC requesting copies of your records, please contact your Service Coordinator or complete the Request for Individual Records using the Request for Records Form.
Looking for public records that aren’t available online? Click here to submit a Public Records Request.
Please fill out the entire form to expedite your public records request. Clearly specify the records you seek, ensuring your request is focused and specific for RCOC to locate them efficiently.
RCOC will determine within 10-days from receipt of a public records request, whether the request, in whole or in part, seeks copies of disclosable public records in possession of RCOC [GC 6253(c)].
Please note: if you are requesting the opportunity to inspect records, you must make an appointment to return at a later date and time to view the records. For more information, contact the Custodian of Records at (714) 796-5100.
