Budget Advocacy and Updates

The State of California is currently undertaking the annual process of deliberating and prioritizing the state’s operating budget.  The COVID-19 pandemic has caused enormous hardship for families, businesses and governments across the world, the United States and California. It has endangered health, stressed the health care system and caused devastating losses in family and business income.

We are seeing a very different and compressed timeline in this year’s budget process and want to ensure we provide you with the most timely, up-to-date information available from advocacy partners and the developmental services stakeholder community. We will work to update this page regularly; you may also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.

RCOC provides these documents are informational guidance and does not necessarily endorse the content in its entirety or the actions requested by other parties.

Throughout the coming weeks as the state budget process continues to evolve, RCOC remains committed to advocating for the ongoing rights and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Orange County and throughout our great state.
